Financial Requirements

1) Liquid Assets - This is an approximate amount of cash you will need to come up with in order to qualify for a loan (SBA or other type of loan) which is usually 25 - 30% of the Total Investment amount required to start the business. In other words, the Liquid Assets amount is included within and is a subset of the Total Investment amount. The Liquid Assets capital requirement can come from your own saved cash, from your 401K, IRA, stocks, bonds, money market accounts, family, friends, and other sources of investment monies.
2) Minimum Net Worth - Minimum net worth is everything you own minus everything you owe (and your spouse if applicable). This includes personal assets such as property or other businesses owned, stocks, bonds, 401K, IRA, cars, cash, etc. and minus what you owe such as mortgage balances, loans, credit card balances etc.
3) Total Investment - The Total Investment amount encompasses a full estimate of everything needed to start a medium size spa center facility format of approximately 3,000 SF. (Refer to the Franchise Disclosure Document, FDD, for description of 3 build-out options and associated Initial Investment cost details).This includes everything from build-out to initial payroll to first 3 months of rent as well as franchise fees, advertising costs and all other estimated costs required to get started.
